Neeru the weaver lived in Kashi city. (Backstory of Neeru some other time)

One day Neeru went to get his marriage proposal and was returning with his wife Neema.
By chance that weaver Neeru was passing near a pond. His wife Neema became thirsty and went to that pond to drink water.
When she had finished drinking water, she raised her eyes and started looking at that pond. She saw a very beautiful child waving his hands and feet on the lotus flowers. Seeing that child, the Neema entered the pond and took that child in her lap.

Coming out of the pond with the child she went to Neeru
Then the weaver Neeru asked to his wife Neema, whose child has she brought? Then Neema replied that she found it in the pond. Neeru said, keep the child back where you brought it from. I don’t know whose child it is? Then the Neema replied that I will never throw away such a beautiful child.

Neeru said that people will laugh at me and make fun of me saying, Neeru has brought a son along with his wife in “Muklawa”, that is why you should throw away this child.
When Neema did not agree to this, the weaver got ready to beat his wife and started scolding her. Then Neema stood there and started worrying.

Meanwhile the boy himself spoke, O Neema! I have come to your house because of the love of your previous life. Do not throw me away and take me to your house. If you make me your Guru and have faith in me, then I will free you from the hassles of birth and death and will take away all your sorrows and pain. I will tell you that word “Naam”, by which you will never fall into the trap of death.
NOTES:
“Muklawa” refers to the ceremony of sending off the bride from her parents’ home to her husband’s home after the wedding, marking her transition into her new marital household.
